TCA Peel
TCA peels aredone with a solution of 20% trichloroacetic acid. This peel is used for superficial to medium-depth skin resurfacing to treat moderate photoaging, actinic keratosis, blotchy hyperpigmentation, melasma, mild to medium wrinkles and superficial acne scars.
During the healing process, skin will slough off and may look flushed or red. The recovery time for the TCA peel is typicallysix to ten days. Multiple peels maybe needed to achieve your desired results. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.
