Revanesse VERSA, the Latest FDA Approved Dermal Filler is Coming to NYC
As of December 2017, there is a new dermal filler available on the US market. Allergan, Galderma and Merz now have some competition.
Please welcome Revanesse® Versa.
This company is from a homegrown Canadian company (out of Toronto) called Prollenium Medical Technologies. Canada has been using Revanesse® Versa hyaluronic acid dermal filler for the past 4 years and now the US has FDA approval for it as well.
The Revanesse hyaluronic acid dermal filler products have been developed to even out fine lines and wrinkles, form and shape facial features and enhance volume, creating a more youthful appearance.
Revanesse® Versa has no reports of any adverse events during clinical trials, and Revanesse® reports over 1 million syringes used worldwide since 2002. This newest filler boasts natural long lasting results with less post injection swelling, smaller particles giving it a smooth flow for the injector and perfect finished looking result for the patient. The particle size of Revanesse® Versa hyaluronic acid dermal filler is spherical and uniform in size which is what gives it a natural result when injected to the patients face. The high viscosity makes it easy for the injector to handle, and the premium quality hyaluronic acid has a higher molecular weight than competing dermal fillers giving it a long lasting result.
The only downside to this new addition to the dermal filler family, there is no lidocaine added to the Revanesse® Versa filler. Withholding lidocaine to dermal fillers has been reported to give a better sustainabilty and longevity to the molecular structure of the dermal filler. I personally like to add 0.3cc of lidocaine to my dermal fillers that do not already include it, such as; Radiesse, Belotero, and now Versa. A small extra step for the injector, to give comfort to the patient during the treatment.
More to come on Revanesse® Versa filler, how much Versa injections will cost and before and after Versa photos, as I integrate it in my practice! Revanesse VERSA filler prices will be lower than its competitors' and expecteded to be $700 per syringe.
